Founded by Visionary Erica Dunn in 2019 Children of the Promise, Inc. was initially organized to change the trajectory of students lives through mentoring. Our mission has expanded to include programs that would inspire and nourish the entire family unit.

Board Member

Ms. Davis-Dunn is the founder and visionary of Children of the Promise, Inc. She is a licensed teacher, minister, and motivational speaker. She has been working with children for more than 20 years from birth through 12th grade. A former childcare entrepreneur, she was inspired to create Children of the Promise, Inc. because of her passion for children and her advocacy for healthy families.

Carmichael is an entrepreneur, etiquette coach, administrative professional, and ordained minister. She is the secretary of Children of the Promise, Inc. and is dedicated to enriching the lives of children socially, emotionally, and educationally.

Johnson is a customer service professional and co-owner of a catering business. She is a 20 year advocate for children and educational equity despite socio-economic or demographic limitations. She currently serves as the treasurer.

Hope is a licensed teacher and mentor with more than 15 years experience in the public school system. She is an exceptional education specialist and is committed to seeing young girls develop into adulthood with the necessary tools for continued success.
